This masterpiece is inspired by Phil Maland, an incredible photographer.

I believe we spent a good hour shooting, just to get this image. A great deal of time was spent, post-shoot, to render this image. Most people only see the time a photographer spends taking the actual pictures. The preparation, training and planning are a big deal, too. Equiptment does matter. But many think if you have a good camera, you can take professional pictures. Not everyone can:
-capture the color and light in a magical way
-compose and balance an image artistically
-capture the expression and feeling of a moment
The more you learn about photography, the more you see the difference in quality. And a good photographer is worth the while. He he! So there's my rant.

Wow, thanks for the compliment! My secret was my 4 year old daughter standing on a step stool and tossing the fabric. :)
Your 4 year old helping? Sweet! That inspires me to let my 4 year old help, too... We used a heavy satin and it fell like a rock when we tried to "toss" it. We ended up on a ladder behind the backdrop, waving the fabric around...
