Our Family Vacation

We spent the 4th of July in Mammoth and Yosemite. I just can't help posting a couple of the hundreds of pictures I took.

Rainbow Falls

The Fam

I love this picture because I didn't have to do any retouching or anything!

Mono Lake- a bubbling salt lake. Aren't the tofu towers so cool?

The shore at Mono Lake

Us at Glacier Point, Yosemite, with Half Dome Rock and Yosemite Falls in the background

Ellery Lake... Isn't the blue reflection spectacular. I didn't have to retouch this one either.

One of our favorite spots turned out to be Convict Lake. These are some cacti flowers we saw along a trail. There were so many flowers I have never seen before, and yes, I got a picture of every single one of them.

Pictures might be beautiful, but I walked away shaking my head. There is no way a camera can show the scale, and the tremendous beauty. I just loved the experience. We will definately go again.

Jenn! I was checking up on your family website -- you added some things. I decided to take a look at your photo blog too. I hate not being able to make comments to you on your website. You have done such a fabulous job on your webiste, and your photos are amazing. I wish we lived closer so you could take my kid's pictures. It's time for new family portraits and I wish you could do it for us! Maybe next time we're in California!!
